WHAT IS SYSTEM RELOAD?

It is now scientific consensus that we have a window of opportunity of 10-15 years to
completely redesign the way we live and design a new system!
SYSTEM RELOAD is to be launched at the Salone Internazionale
del Mobile, in Milan, to celebrate... 20 Years... of Action by the o2 Global Network, which
began as a conversation in a coffee shop in Milan in 1988!

SYSTEM RELOAD was formed after several o2 Liaisons thought it was time to unite our
collective expertise, experience and affiliated networks to maximize authentic
opportunities for positive change. It is a not for profit, multidisciplinary, collaborative
initiative to be hosted by the o2GN, o2Italy, ABLE 2008 and Tuttobene in Milan from April
16-21, 2008.

SYSTEM RELOAD is open to all eco creatives and organizations and will be a meeting point
for the Eco Design Community and a melting pot of Eco Innovation and Collaboration!

SYSTEM RELOAD will be a social space with a full-time bar where visitors can gather for
workshops, networking events, lectures, discussions and debates. There will be examples
of Best Practice sustainable design from o2GN members and, as part of the 20th
anniversary celebration, a history of the o2GN as well as a visual representation of the size
and rich diversity of the o2 Global Network today.

This is an opportunity for you to meet like-minded people from around the world - share
you vision - showcase your work – gather information…. inspire and be inspired.

We invite your contribution to make the System Reload o2GN 20th Anniversary Event, truly
magnificent!

Come and join us – participate, initiate, debate, collaborate and celebrate! Please spread
the word to your sustainable design friends and colleagues.

We look forward to hearing from you!

60 minutes...

8pm - 29 March, 2008

Earth Hour.
Created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world. As a result, at 8pm on the 29 March, 2008 millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tel Aviv and Manila will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.

Shall we try to get Perth on this list as well?

Earth Hour is our collective stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced. In using the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour, together we deliver a powerful message about the need for action on climate change. Simple. Powerful.
