Pharmaceutical companies spend billions of dollars marketing drugs to doctors.
A friend of mine worked for one of these big pharaceutic industries as a marketing rep selling drugs to doctors... and giving away theater tickets, city trips, champagne, and far more then that, to get the doctors to prescribe the companies drugs to their patients. A very shady place!
