AUSTRALIA risks losing its entire aluminium industry if the introduction of carbon trading is botched, a leading union has warned.Contradicting other unions that played down the likelihood of job losses, the Australian Workers Union yesterday launched a report arguing the industry's 15,000 jobs would be lost to countries with less environmentally sound policies unless it was properly compensated under the carbon pollution reduction scheme.
