While new species (the canetoads) are on our borders native mammal species are dissapearing in Westerna Australia faster than any other country, WA conservationists have warned. This week, 8000 experts will begin a 10-day meeting in Barcelona to update the International Conservation Union’s “red list” of threatened species.
