A Japanese solar car has won the Global Green Challenge race from Darwin to Adelaide, crossing the finish line this afternoon.The Tokai Challenger took the lead on the first day of the 3000 kilometre race, which began last Sunday.
The win breaks a four race winning streak by the Dutch Nuon team.
