Printer cartridges

While I am a computer nerd and didn't refill my printer cartridges since ages, most people still need paper prints. So my attention fell on the flyer in the letterbox this morning;
Re-use your empty ink or laser cartridge and win!
Bring your empty ink or laser cartridge into your local Cartridge World store and have it refilled or manufactured and enter the draw to win one of two 5 night stays at the Daintree Ecolodge and Spa.

Most printer cartridges can be remanufactured, refilled or reloaded. Here are a few good reasons to recycle printer cartridges:
- More than 3.4 litres (3/4 gallon) of oil are needed to make one new laser cartridge
- About 1,500 tonnes of toner cartridges are sent to landfill in Australia each year
- In just 12 months, cartridge recycling could save 4.3 million litres of oil in a country of 22 million people
- Laser printer cartridges account for over 90% of all throw-away cartridges
- A laser cartridge thrown into landfill can take up to 450 years to decompose
- Buying a new cartridge uses more resources with a higher cost to you
- Cartridge World cartridges are locally, refilled or remanufactured on site, supporting your local community (compared to new cartridges which are mass produced overseas and sold by local dealers) By bringing your used cartridges to Cartridge World you can help protect Australia's environment. Refilling… makes $$$ and sense!
