Sustainability Week

Caroline Minton, Environmental Coordinator at Murdoch University, told me that the university is hosting a ‘Sustainability Week’ from Monday 15th October to Friday 19th October, with a different theme each day – Sustainability, Resources, Environment, Society and Culture, and Economy. The week is aimed at educating the community about sustainability issues and how we can all impact less on the earth. There will be seminars, documentaries and other activities to attend throughout the week, related to each theme. A token gold coin donation for attending seminars, documentaries, walks and tours is requested to help raise funds for solar panels, to generate on-campus renewable energy. The whole week is powered by Natural Power, courtesy of Synergy.
