The Australian International Furniture Fair 2 - 4 February 2011 in Sydney is delighted to announce THE EDGE - the international design competition and innovation showcase for the hottest talent in furniture and lighting design - open for applications.Launched in 2004, THE EDGE at the Australian International Furniture Fair is Sydney's finest place for new and emerging furniture designers from Australia and across the globe. With no application fee and no participation fee for those selected, THE EDGE has become a coveted industry entry platform for the Australasian market.
THE EDGE 2011 will feature the latest products by Australian and international designers. Awards are presented in the categories of Commercial, Concept, Student and Sustainable Design. Applications are now welcome. Closing date is Wednesday 13 October 2010 5pm.
