A free public lecture on the environmental impact of Fremantle port dredging is being held in Swanbourne.
University of WA Centre for Water Research director Professor Jorg Imberger will demonstrate his realtime website monitoring of the Swan River and coast ecosystem. Among other things, it will show nutrient and bacteria effects on the Swan and Canning Rivers and beaches.
The lecture is at Swanbourne-Nedlands Surf Life Saving Club, 282 Marine Parade, Swanbourne on 10 June at 6pm.
